Sean Marino - Portfolio - Environment - Shift

This game demo was done as a team project in college. The idea was to go through an entire game-development cycle. Over the span of 1 year, our team of 6 went through the rough stages and iterations of pre-production, coming up with new ideas for a game. We were to combine our skills to create a playable demo using Unreal Development Kit. Here are some screenshots from our game. Work done by me in these screens is most of the modular architectural pieces and tileable textures.

These are a few of the various props I created for the project. The modular architectural ones were created from 1 texture, with a material that is completely customizable for color. The demo features these same meshes with different colors so as to not appear repetative.

Here are a few of the textures I created for this project. All except the last one were created entirely in Photoshop using nDo for normals. The first was used for a combination of over 12 different modular meshes for the level.

This is the master material created for the project, allowing for level designers to quickly plug in textures and edit values.
